A Note from the Nurse
Nurse Dava
The COVID-19 policy for the 24-25 school year has been updated. This year COVID-19 will be treated the same way as other respiratory viruses, such as influenza and RSV.
Your child will stay home until:
- They have been fever-free for 24 hours without fever-reducing medication.
- The cough and runny nose are improving.
- They feel well enough for routine activities.
Students are not required to stay home if someone at home has tested positive.
Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns ( [email protected] or 864-671-6265).
A Note from the Student Wellness Coordinator
Ms. Phifer
The SEL word of the week is SOCIETY (n.); a group of individuals that are in persistent social interactions or sharing the same space. This word is part of our Social Awareness competency. In improving our social awareness skills, we can learn to better understand and empathize with others by considering different perspectives. In SEL classes, and throughout the school, we will work on active listening, empathy skills, as well as practicing respect.
